Two usual females, one fawn female and one sorrel female born 31st May 2013 from Crystalpaws Frodo Baggins (Frodo)x Kazizkatz Merrydancersrose (Rosie)
All reserved.

Rosie had her kittens at a very respectable time of day this time - she started at 6:00 in the evening and it was all done by 7:30! Rosie had been telling me all day that she was going to have her babies and had been happily purring in her box. Rosie had her kittens very easily and each one was feeding within ten minutes of being born:-) I was surprise that all of them are females but they were all over 100g at birth and have gained well over the first night.

One day old

At one week old, Rosie's kittens have all more than doubled their birth weight and are real little fatties:-) Rosie is a very content mum but is happy for us to handle her kittens and weigh them daily.

At nearly two weeks old, Rosie's kittens all have part of their eyes open. They are all still gaining weight at a phenomenal rate and Rosie is eating us out of house and home!

At nearly three weeks old, Rosie's kittens all have their eyes fully open and are now sitting up properly. They are starting to chase each other around the kitten box, so I don't think it will be long until they start looking over the top of the box ready to climb out!

At four weeks old, Rosie's kittens are just starting to get out of their kitten box. They are quite playful now and chase each other around.

At five weeks old, Rosie's kittens are now out of their kitten box and are chasing each other around their kitten pen. They are starting to nibble on their mum's food. They will be moving downstairs in a couple of days, so they get used to all the household noises.

At six weeks old, Rosie's kittens are starting to tuck into solid food. The sorrel female is still a bit reluctant to eat but she is having a few nibbles. They are now enjoying chasing each other round in the kitten room with Fleur's kittens.

At seven weeks old, Rosie's kittens are now all enjoying solid food. These are all lovely chunky kittens and starting to become very cuddly:-)

At eight weeks old, Rosie's kittens characters are now really showing. The fawn female is very cunning and has learnt how to escape from the kitten part of our kitchen (they don't usually manage this until they are at least ten weeks old)!! They seem to prefer dried food at the moment and just nibble the wet food.

At nine weeks old, Rosie's kittens have had their first vaccinations and vet check. They were all very well behaved and the vet was very pleased with them all:-)

At ten weeks old, Rosie's kittens are all eating us out of house and home. The fawn girl likes to 'help' when I am dishing up their food and always steals a some raw chicken:-)

At eleven weeks old, Rosie's kittens are having a bit of a growth spurt and are starting to look quite grown up. The bigger usual girl has learnt to jump over the gate to the kitten room and spends most of the day with the 'big' cats and pestering the dogs:-)

At twelve weeks old, Rosie's kittens have had their second vaccinations and vet checks. The vet was surprised at how much they had grown in three weeks. They were all very well behaved and calm whilst at the vet. These will be their last pictures, as they will be going to new homes soon.
