Two usual tortie females, one sorrel tortie female, one sorrel silver tortie female and one sorrel silver male born 9th April 2013 from Highlight Crystalfire-n-Ice (Buzz) x Crystalpaws Bellatrix Black (Bella)
All reserved.

Bella had her kittens very quickly, starting just after midnight and finishing an hour and a half later! She did seem a little confused at first but I think that was mainly caused by the speed of her kittens coming - she hardly had time to clean one before the next was on it's way. Bella has settled down well and hasn't even wanted to leave her kittens to eat (we have had to put her food in her kitten box for her to eat!).

One day old.

At six days old, Bella's kittens have all doubled their birth weight and are growing fast. Bella is proving to be a fantastic mum and her kittens are very content.

At nearly two weeks old, Bella's kittens have nearly all got their eyes open and are starting to hold their heads up. Bella is very relaxed and is happy for us to handle her kittens.

At three weeks old, Bella's kittens are starting to play and pat at each other. Their ears are starting to grow now, so they look more like kittens:-)

At four weeks old, Bella's kittens are now out of their kitten box and enjoying chasing each other around their kitten pen. They are still not interested in solid food yet but are enjoying playing in their water bowl.

At five weeks old, Bella's kittens are much more lively and are starting to spend some time downstairs with Chilli and Mira's kittens. They are still not eating solid food yet - I think they enjoy mum's milk too much!

At six weeks old, Bella's kittens are finally all eating solid food. They are now spending all of their time with Mira and Chilli's kittens and the three mum's are taking it in turns to look after the kittens - the mum's argue if they are together with the kittens.

At seven weeks old, Bella's kittens are now nearly as big as Mira's kittens and will eat anything they are given. I had to wake the sorrel tortie female up for her picture today as she was curled up asleep in her bed!

At eight weeks old, Bella's kittens are still doing well. Their characters are now really starting to come out - one of the usual tortie females is very cheeky;-)

At nine weeks old, Bella's kittens are eating so much more all of a sudden. They will be having their first vaccinations and vet checks this week - let's hope that they behave themselves:-)

At ten weeks old, Bella's kittens have had their first vaccinations and vet checks. They were all very well behaved and didn't even notice being vaccinated! They were a bit quiet the next day but were soon back to themselves:-)

At eleven weeks old, Bella's kittens are getting so much bigger and chunkier now - they are nearly as big as Mira and Chilli's kittens.

At twelve weeks old, Bella's kittens will be having their second vaccinations in a couple of days and will soon be going to their new homes except one of the usual tortie girls, who we are keeping, and the sorrel silver boy, who will be going to live in the Netherlands in a few weeks.
